Doll accessories are not quite like accessories for people, so they need to be cared for in a special way. A little prevention can go a long way towards keeping your doll accessories nice and tidy for years to come! To help straighten her hair, we recommend very lightly misting her hair with water - not too much! - to remove static and make the hair easier to brush. There are so many great Our Generation dolls, accessories, and outfits to choose from! When you first undo Rachel's ponytail, her hair might be a little kinked from staying in one style for so long as she made her journey to you. Heated styling tools like hair dryers or straighteners and products like gels or mousses can permanently damage your doll.For small messes, try using a clean, damp cloth to gently spot clean the products. First, sponge up as much of the mess as you can, then use warm water to gently rub the area. Let the item air-dry and repeat as needed. It is also a very good idea to avoid exposing your doll accessories to heat sources like direct sunlight, irons, and clothes dryers, especially for items that contain plastics. Since doll accessories can be made of a range of materials, we recommend avoiding commercial cleaners and detergents as those products may damage your product. To clean the surface of any accessory, simply use a damp cloth and warm water. Next, use the wire brush and very gently but firmly brush Rachel's hair, starting at the ends and working your way up. Let her hair air-dry, and repeat this process until her hair is as straight as you like it!
