And, to a much lesser extent, everyone else, in particular those who like over-the-top surreal comedy in a book. There's also a lot of 80s and 90s references to movies and video games, so not surprisingly the humor often emerges from that kind of place. Do I think it saved literature? Doc says so, so of course. I read a lot, and this was a fun one that made me feel like it was giving me a firm handshake for being a regular fan in the arena.
