Its sillage is okay if you spray like an overexcited water sprinkler, and the longevity is restricted on skin. The longevity does really improve on clothes, though. It smells bloody AMAZING on clothes! I love spraying this on my night-clothes before bed. :) Ooh baby, this is delicious. First spritz- blast of warm juicy oranges, it eases into a sweetness that I can't quite describe, but I'm intoxicated by it. There is a warmness to this, which is appealing- especially, since this is citrus... there is a light brightness to the warmth... sweet and sour, a sparkling aura of delight... I've never smelled anything like this. Now, the dessert comes. That wow- holy mother of god, cake- oh, I've got to have that cake. But no, it smells way too good to eat. I don't want it to go away... Spice peaking through... It's only been a few minutes, so I'll return... :) I see that most people consider it a winter perfume and I agree but not that it's not wearable year round.it has an almost powdery/creamy woody-vanilla drydown with slightest hint of orange, jasmine and spices wafting through which is warm, smooth, cozy and pleasant I had no reason to be afraid. I hardly smell any clove and if I do it isn’t enough to deter me. A reviewer much further down mentioned that it smells similar to VivaLaJuicy Gold. I do see the resemblance but much much weaker, no caramel.

To be honest, Hidden Fantasy was a huge disappointment to me. I had high hopes, as it often gets recommended as an atypical, kind of spicy celeb scent, and many say it smells like Christmas. That all sounded great to me and I often pondered over blind buying a bottle as it‘s also available for such a cheap price. But in the end I‘m very glad I got a sample in a swap, as it doesn‘t smell like I expected at all. It's so soft and cuddly,so comforting and so nice that whenever I feel cold and blue I use it to cheer me up and boost my mood.I find it nostalgic as it reminds me of the homemade orange-vanilla cake my mom used to bake and serve it with a cup of warm, cinnamon tea The vanilla and amber base notes combine wonderfully with the woods, lending comforting warmth to the middle notes, minus the sugar rush I was expecting from them mixing with the lingering Neapolitan cake accords. These days I find myself reaching for my bottle of Hidden Fantasy whenever I want to fulfil a gourmand craving. It has just the right amount of citrus notes, sweetness and warmth. I have been wearing lots of Hidden Fantasy these last two Winters and am extremely impressed by both its quality and the lasting strength on my skin. Whenever I have received compliments on this fragrance, many are surprised to discover it's a Britney Spears scent. It is applicable for the mature at heart - for any woman who loves warm spice and vanilla - interplay with sweet jasmine and tender citrus notes, with a breath of clove for that added earthiness.

And I must brag on the beautiful bottle it comes in. It's such a lovely red color with the light pink "gems" all over it. It really stands out on the perfume counter, especially when it's sitting next to something else that makes it shine all the more.Edit: a reviewer mentioned D&G The One, I can see why: the mandarin orange, lily note and amber of The One give the same type of sweetness, but to me The One is too serious, sometimes it even reminds me of the incense of lily&honey. Not something i reject, but def wouldnt buy, too heavy for me, plum, vetiver, litchi ohh too much. Ive tried to work with The One countless times and just cant. Hidden Fantasy is fresher, candy-like, playful but elegant.

I get an unsettled stomach for most versions of Fantasy if I wear them long enough. However, this is an exception! I've been wearing this for like a week straight with no perfume nausea, and I still think it smells amazing. I am continually surprised by the beauty and quality of BS fragrances, this one is the best surprise of all!!! As would be expected, I grew out of the sweet, sugary gourmands as I grew older, and with my developing tastes I came to really enjoy the less sweet Hidden Fantasy. Although still a gourmand, Hidden Fantasy is a bit more grown-up. To my nose it smells like a delicious slice of an orange poppy-seed cake minus the sugary icing. It has to be said that I love these bottles. They really are very pretty with the swarovski crystals embellishing the round, colourful bottle. I'm quite taken with it. I couldn't see Hidden Fantasy as a winter perfume,it was a year rounder for me,and I didn't find it as sweet or gourmand or spicy as my expectations

More From Sephora

I just got Hidden Fantasy in the mail today and what a successful blind buy! On me, this is so uplifting and fresh, a fresh juicy naturally sweet orange that has been sitting in the sunshine. I get a slight warmth from the spices and just enough woodiness to ground it and give it some depth. This will layer really nicely with BBW Sensual Amber body cream. As for longevity, so far, I have been enjoying it for 3 hours. Seems to wear close to the skin, but I can smell it around me as I move my arms...I love that! I dont feel that this is a juvenile fragrance...people of all ages will enjoy this scent. Its casual and good for feeling clean and fresh any time of the day. Wearing Hidden Fantasy makes me excited for the change of Seasons and the upcoming Fall and Winter Holidays! UPDATE: This lasts upwards of 10 hours on my skin! Not a skin scent either. I smell it everytime I move my arms. I LOVE Hidden Fantasy! Today I have it layered with Bonfire Bash body cream from BBW...another great pairing and perfect for Fall! It's a fun and zesty blend of sparkling, tangy citrus blast with some awesomely noticeable verbena (that is honestly so rare for me to detect in perfume, yet it's a scent I love) and gentle cloves that settles into a warm vanilla and slightly woody base. Hidden fantasy isn't my most favorite britney perfume but I like it and I'm glad to have a 3.3oz it's something I'll use when I'm in it's mood but one can use it in daily basis too.I usually wear it when I go for a walk in nearby park with my man evenings or late at night or when we're having a nice family night at home watching movies and eating home made cake and a cup of tea

When the oranges vanish, Hidden Fantasy dries down to a soft vanilla musk scent, which reminds me more of scented plastic toys then of cake or anything Christmas-like. That‘s not neccessarily a bad thing in my book, but not what I wanted and also very faint and not executed that well here. There are still absolutely no spicy notes to my nose.I find this perfume rather interesting. I don't LOVE it, but for some reason it makes me wanna wear it more often. I have this in the 100ml which at first I questioned since this was pretty much a blind buy (I smelt this years ago, like when it first released but haven't smelt it since and completely forgot about it). Firstly, many people are calling this very citrusy and I wanna correct them on that. Hidden Fantasy opens with a somewhat fruity but not so sweet orange and tangerine smell. I would say this is the least sweetest scent out of the Fantasy line, but don't get put off by this without trying it! As it wears down I get a orange cake-like smell, or some kind of orange desert smell. It still has a slight amount of sweetness but not as much as the other Fantasies, so don't worry. I would say this is my third favorite Fantasy perfume out of them all, Circus Fantasy being second and the original first. As for the sillage and lasting power, Hidden Fantasy has an ok sillage. It probably radiates around arm length, almost as powerful as the original. However the longevity still had a lot left to be desired! It lasted at least 2-3 hours on me, no where near as much as the original lasts (12+ hours). On initial application there is a very stong burst of alcohol, but within a few minutes that's gone. Then it's a very nice smelling softly spiced orange cream. I found it quite linear, but it doesn't last long enough to develop into anything else. It works as a flanker to Fantasy because it smells like a sweet dessert, but it doesn't share the same DNA. I only know it is a flanker because of the name and the coordinating bottle. Literally everything that (present-day) Coco failed to do this one does, like a BOSS. There is a sweetness that remains delicate, sheer, and non-cloying. The spices play with the sweetness to create a perfect cloud of (to my perception) sweet, delicate beauty. Like a lovely woman is easy on the eyes, BSHF is very easy on the nose and, therefore, the senses overall. Apparenty, Hidden Fantasy has become hard to find now, which is a shame. Imagine my delight when I spotted a big bottlle of it on the clearance shelf at my local drugstore. The sign said all the discounted bottles were 19.99 but when I was cashed out, it was further reduced to 14.99, score! I had bought a smaller bottle of Hidden Fantasy years ago. Needless to say the juice in that bottle has been long gone. So I was curious about retrying this particular perfume and ended up receiving a bottle for my birthday. It's truly a very pleasant smelling perfume. I can see where people would say and think it'd be the perfect perfume to wear around Christmas time. I think the image I have for this perfume is picturing somebody wanting to make their house smell lovely and they dump all the notes into a pot on top of their stove so you can smell it all throughout the house. It's a cozy image and it's how I feel when I spray the perfume on. It just makes me feel cozy.
