About this deal

Three decades on, I'm happy that so many bands impacted by such a volatile moment in time kept at it anyway and are still putting out strong material today.

My best strength is writing melodic pop songs so I just let it all flow as I wanted this album to be soaked in colour and completely natural. Most notable has been the well-earned rise of guitarist Chris Buck, named in 2019 as ‘Best New Guitarist in the World’, who has forged a reputation as one of the most inventive and recognisable guitar players in music; winning plaudits from peers and the industry’s most iconic players alike.

However, in line with official guidance/regulations, all 2020 show were halted from March 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. That one simply has to be the kick off of the live shows this Autumn, but any of them could make the set and belong there. Fire Never Fades” looks back on childhood, and the title track seems to underline the journey through life, but its sheer scope and size is impressive.

They've been remarkably consistent - not to say a little bit same-y - ever since, albeit with the Celtic influences in their music becoming stronger around the time of 2001's "Belief". In fact, the longer I listen to this album, the more it sounds like a janglier, subtly folk infused version of Magnum and it's that folk angle, which isn't a huge one, that delineates them. For example if you enter Black Star Riders the results will include all instances of "Black" "Star" and "Riders". But the most striking and impressive thing -at least, to me personally- is the fact that Dare has managed to retain a high level from a compositional and performing standpoint while at the same time never failing to leave their unique stamp on the musical map. T. Festival in Germany (15 April), the Rocknytt Cruise in Sweden (21-22 April), and a 12-date co-headline UK tour with FM and Tyketto.Road to Eden" reminds me very strongly of "Belief", more so than any of the intervening albums - it's not quite a carbon copy, but it is identical in style; very strongly melodic and catchy, with similar instrumentation and arrangements. Dare is an English rock band from Oldham, fronted by former Thin Lizzy keyboard player Darren Wharton. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. On 4 May 2018, the band announced Out of the Silence II, an anniversary special edition of their debut album. Certain items can take longer to source than the estimated week, particularly during busy trading periods and may take longer to arrive at our warehouse.
