These ingredients work by acting as ‘reflux suppressants’, which means that they form a protective layer over the contents of your stomach, including stomach acid. Gaviscon Double Action Mint Flavour Chewable Tablets bring relief from pain and discomfort of heartburn and acid indigestion.

The other ingredients are mannitol (E421), macrogol 20,000, copovidone, aspartame (E951), peppermint flavouring, magnesium stearate and acesulfame potassium.

The calcium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate work as antacids to neutralise your stomach acid and ease the pain and discomfort this can cause.
