Seher al Kalemat is one of the most opulent fragrances I have encountered so far, especially considering the short list of notes. At first when I first tried it, I thought this was a light fragrance which only smelled like a subdued ashy scent with some kind of sweetness in the background. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.

Kalemat fragrance Created from pink musk grapes flowers and star anise flowers, we poured an odour touching dreamers thoughts to flow like poetry. Now the scent I must admit gets a bit too dark and dense for me in the dry down, it's still good though especially the opening which I absolutely love!

The amber and incense heavy vanilla are the most prominent notes while note being too sweet or cloying . And for about 3 and a half weeks ( I kept the shirt hanging just to see how much it would take till the scent dies down) I was clearly able to smell the sweet gourmand smell from it, i am not kidding! Everyone I know loves سحر الكلمات (magic words) it's got just the right amount of everything going for it: sweet, smokey, even a little tart.

I can’t believe I spent this much on something that smells like the old Bijan perfume that was popular in the 90’s.com, the Sell on Etsy app, and the Etsy app, as well as the electricity that powers Etsy’s global offices and employees working remotely from home in the US. The scent is a simple thin veil of smoky salty sweet pineapple popcorn, and the jewel in its depths is a slightly funky authentic oud note which I haven't smelled in any western oud fragrance. I tested it and tested Kalemat, both reminds me of each others, except that Sehr Al kalemat was veery week ( very strange tho ) On the other hand, the normal Kalemat was a beast !

My first thought was "saliva" - the same kind of saliva smell that I got from Arabian Gardens, and Suki Weil. And indeed in interesting journey unraveling the pages of it's development and teaching me in an olfactory way to "never judge a book by it's cover" ; never judge a scent by the first sniffs. And then about an hour the Oud and the Vanilla and the amber and the Basil rise up imploding from your skin into your aura. Edit: The heavy synthetic oud accord in this is just too much after a while, I’m afraid this has turned into a dislike for me.Sprayed it today and it’s very similar to the original Kalemat except for the fresh basil note and a smokier nuance. The versatility, quality, affordability, performance, and likability of this fragrance has me hard-pressed to find situations where this one is not ideal.
