Description

Unlike most running shoes that offer just one extra eyelet at each side, the Adizero Adios 7 comes with 6 more, 3 on each side, giving you the flexibility to adjust the fit for a perfect, snug fit. We wished that adidas made the heel piece reflective. It looks reflective at first, but it’s merely glossy and doesn’t reflect light as a high-visibility trim should. PROS AND CONS So the resulting ride experience is cushioned with a firm overtone, the kind that makes the transitions efficient without punishing the feet.

Performance: B ( Heavy for a racing flat, but enough cushioning for decent miles and comes alive at faster paces) I had forgotten just how nice it was to have a true road shoe that could latch onto the ground for acceleration, turns, and wet weather. It is truly lovely! I even took these on an 8 mile run on dirt roads, gravel, and light trails. All that we said of the new Lightstrike Pro foam in our Boston 10 review applies to the adios 6 as well. Stability: B+ ( Torsion system creates mild stability throughout, with heel bevel creating slight lateral bias at heel. ) Saucony Omni 20 Review - Our first guest reviewer, Ryan Flugaur, dives into the latest model of the long running stability trainer

Over the years, it has seen a number of releases, including Boost foam in 2013, cushioning material delivering responsive support that is more durable and provides greater energy return than traditional EVA foam. Tailored Fiber Placement debuted in 2018 with the Solar Boost, and this new design technique, which involves individually placing each fiber of the upper, creates an extra snug fit. The adios fulfills the role of a racer and a speed trainer, so we don’t think a three shoe rotation (from adidas) is necessary. As you have seen, these two shoes have different profiles, so the choice depends on your practice and your goals.

This approach is a more reliable approach to understanding how the shoe conforms to the shape of the foot in the toe box region. Personal: B ( A good lightweight trainer, although a bit narrow for me. Not up to par in terms of weight for its intended purpose, but works well as a shoe with more ground feel compared to other racing shoes on the market. )Lightstrike Pro is a lightweight mystery foam that is soft and springy, it provides better energy return compared to the Adidas Boost technology. It has been compared to Nike’s ZoomX foam. This Lightstrike Pro foam is the same foam that is in the record-breaking shoes the Adios Pro 1, Adios Pro 2, and the Adidas Prime X. While the plate-in-midsole form factor is a huge leap in running shoe design, one wonders if that’s being overdone. The racing shoe and speed trainer category is a good example. Therefore, adding some padding to the tongue would have been a great idea and we expect to see that in its next update.
