Lana Castillo - my childhood best friend and the only woman I ever loved, until I broke her heart six years ago.She never gave Cal a chance to explain once she overheard his conversation with his brother's over the inheritance. The most surprising and shocking thing that Cal finds out is that Lana has a daughter with features that are very similar to his own would be around the age of when he had left Lana. Falling in love with yourself is ten times harder than falling in love with someone else, especially when I don't like myself very much. Cami shows up, Cal wanted to get away while Cami was tryna get money outta him for swearing, she has a swear jar.

Overall, I liked the Dreamland Billionaires series and recommend it to anyone who loves quirky women, billionaires who need to be taken down a notch or two, and family drama that keeps you coming back for more. He was the one who dreamed about settling down with the his childhood love until his career in the NHL ended after a couple of years leading to depression and dependency on pain killers and alcohol to make it through the day. But now, to get his inheritance, he is forced to go back to the small town and live in his family lake house. As I’d said, saying goodbye feels kinda bittersweet and hard but Lauren did such a brilliant job with the book that it made it easier. One thing i heavily appreciated was how Lana and Cal’s relationship was about pushing one another towards inevitable happiness.i loved seeing everybody together, and just being in the world one last time, it was everything and more! But, am I the only one who thought we were going to be traumatized in finding out that Cami was actually Cal’s from a blacked-out encounter with Lana’s addict sister in a one-night stand of ultimate betrayal? The behavior was so insensitive from her, and his Brothers were just another level of insensitiveness as well.
