I personally like that the EDT is sharper and more rugged than my old bottles of Aventus, but this LE version presents a more pleasing fruity profile that I will probably reach for more when it's hotter outside.

Last but not least, the fresh and tart opening starts to evaporate only after a good 30 minutes or so. It barely survives my office day and that's unfortunately (besides dating) one of the few applications I see for this fragrance. Honestly, it's within the year to year variations (particularly comparing something like the 2019s to the new F batches), with the caveat that the quality is noticeably worse. For the smell itself, for some reason I get noseblind REALLY quick when I smell anything of the Aventus DNA.

The pineapple and lemon vibe never leaves the scent fully but after a while, when it stops exploding, you start to feel the birch in the heart followed by the musk and a bit of ambergris from the base. I thought that it was a joke when my brother told me that he got at least a couple of positive unsolicited compliments from colleagues and random people on the street.

I usually hate hate hate clones but this is just objectively better than current Aventus batches in every single way, other than the opening. After 4-5 hours it disappeared completely from my wrist and I am not at all satisfied with it, thought it would be 5 times better in terms of longevity and silage. Perfect for both cold and warm weather in my opinion, but it probably performs better in warmer seasons.

The fragrance opens with top notes of juicy bergamot, zesty lemon and sweet tangy pineapple giving it that . Notes are more blend in together but somehow less citrusy, don't get much Pineapple, more of the dense smoky Birch forward. I ended up giving it to my brother as he really liked it, bear in mind he is quite particular about what scents he likes. It's a scent that is sure to turn heads and make you stand out in a crowd, without having to spend a fortune on a designer fragrance. As for the jasmine and rose mentioned in the note breakdown, I almost never get the whiffs of florals, but I do get a musky aroma sitting underneath the citruses and leather.
